MARINA FORUM SERIES: AntennAI 2026 (25 AUGUST 2026)

Marina Forum Series: AntennAI 2026 will be held on 25 August 2026 at the National University of Singapore (NUS) in a hybrid format. The Marina Forum Series is a seminar series dedicated to sharing the latest advances at the intersection of antennas and artificial intelligence (Antenna + AI). Through seminars, domain experts will be invited to share recent research progress, and new perspectives on how AI is transforming antenna engineering.

Series on AntennAI 2026 will focus on the evolving role of AI in antenna design—from Prior knowledge-guided and generative design to high-degree-of-freedom optimization, computational intelligence, and ultimately more autonomous antenna engineering.

The upcoming forum features four keynote speeches:

1. Prior Knowledge-Guided Deep Learning-Enabled Generative Antenna Design by Prof. Peiqin Liu, National University of Singapore

2. Machine Learning-Assisted Circuit-Network-Field Co-Optimization for High-Degree-of-Freedom Smartphone Antenna Design by Prof. Haiming Wang, Southeast University

3. Toward Autonomous Antenna Engineering with Machine Learning by Prof. Ming Shen, Aalborg University

4. Computational Intelligence for Unsupervised Design, Modeling, and Optimization of Antennas by Prof. Slawomir Koziel, Reykjavik University

Researchers, engineers, students, and anyone interested in the latest developments in Antenna + AI are warmly welcome to participate.

MARINA FORUM ON METANTENNAS & RECONFIGURABLE ANTENNAS (21-24 MARCH 2027)

The 7th Marina Forum (Mar-For 2027) on Metantennas and Reconfigurable Antennas will be held on 21-24 March 2027 at Orchard Hotel in Singapore. This event is organized by IEEE Singapore RFID Chapter and sponsored by academic and professional organizations as well as companies.

Mar-For 2027 will feature high-quality technical presentations and panel discussions by renowned keynote and invited speakers, researchers, and students from around the world, providing a premier platform for academia and industry to exchange ideas, showcase the latest research, and foster collaborations. The forum will cover a broad range of topics related to metamaterials, metasurfaces, metantennas, and their fundamental principles, as well as reconfigurable antenna technologies, including frequency-, pattern-, polarization-, and compound-reconfigurable antennas enabled through electrical switching, optical switching, mechanical reconfiguration, and tunable smart materials such as liquid crystals, ferrites, metamaterials, and metasurfaces. The programme will also highlight machine learning-enabled methods, electromagnetic modeling, optimization algorithms, and emerging applications of metamaterials and reconfigurable antenna technologies across wireless, satellite, sensing, and next-generation communication systems.

The forum is open to the submission of one-page summary, and accepted summaries will be presented on site. The extended summaries will be published in conference proceedings on conference website after the conference.

The forum continues the Student Sessions including the Student Paper Contest (SPC) and Student Interactive Forum (SIF) as a tradition. The students who have worked on relevant topics from fundamental research to engineering applications are welcome to participate.

Financial sponsorships are welcome!
